The Cruise (Day 5)

The last day of the cruise we were back at sea all day. We were rested and relaxed and ready to be home, but not before comparing injuries. This minor foot scratch happened in Calica when we went swimming in this amazing pool that comes from the ocean after going through a network of underground caves. It was so beautiful that we forgot to take a good picture. Anyway, Janell scratched her foot on the rocks.

A much more severe injury. Jeremy was scratched maliciously by his wife . . ON THE FACE!!! Jeremy somehow held it together and was even tough enough not to visit the infirmary.

Our last night in the dining room. Colin (left) and his assistant were our waiters for the whole cruise. He was really great and made our evening meals that much better.

The best thing about the cruise was being together. After ten years, just being together is still the most fantastic thing we get to do.

The Cruise (Day 4) Calica

Welcom to Calica, Mexico!

In Calica we went on an ATV adventure. The trail was very tough. When a Mexican tells you we are going to go on an 'all-terrain' adventure, they mean it! Rocks, rocks and more rocks!

One bad a' mo-fo!

"No, it's just me!"

We also got to do a little spelunking!

FYI: Spelunking = Cave exploring (but you probably knew that)

OMG! Did you hear something?!

Shut up! Are you serious?!?!?

We rode out to our own private beach for some time in the beautiful caribbean water.
Such a beautiful part of the world.

Jeremy has wood.
Back on the ATV's for more fun. Such a blast!

Janell's big ol' blister from trying to man-handle the ATV over the rocks. Poor baby!

Somehow we were able to clean up enough for dinner on the ship. It was an exhausting but memorable day together.

The Cruise (Day 3) - Cozumel

Janell celebrates getting off the ship with an upside-down hand-stand.

Our first time in the western carribean and all we can do is take pictures of the boat. Sheesh.

Under no circumstances whatsoever will you be permitted to 'E' in Cozumel. Occasionally, you might be able to get away with 'e'-ing, but 'E'-ing? No way, Jose!

Janell blends in to the Mexican culture seamlessly. Nothing says Mexican like pearlescent skin and a giant purple sombrero!

Pancho's Backyard for lunch.

Here are some obligatory tourist pictures. We couldn't get over the color of the water!!!

The Cruise (Day 2)

Jeremy takes first in a Texas Hold 'em tournament.
Who's a happy boy?!?!?

Janell looking amazing at dinner. (Jeremy drools while blogging)

Our good friends Andy and Stacy sent us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary . . . so thoughtful, aaah.

The Cruise!!! (Day 1) by Jeremy

In Mobile, AL Jeremy was climbing the walls (or trees) to get out to sea.

Hello! and welcome to our spacious accomodations!

Jeremy ignored the 'please do not play, for performers only' sign. Rebel.

A little rain can't keep Jeremy from having an umbrella drink by the pool.

Janell can taste a win at Bingo . . . oh, not so much.

The Lego Store- this one's for Parker

On the way to pick up Jeremy's tux for Joe & Meghan's wedding in New Jersey, we spotted a Lego competition in the mall. We were SO bummed that Parker missed it!

The Lego Store- there's only a handful of these on the east coast.

Wonder how much this one costs?

R2D2, Lego-style.

How cute is the Princess Lea with the bikini!?!

We filled a bucket with miscellaneous and specialty legos for Parker. Some kids in the store helped us with the selection process.

This one was lego man parts....a la Frankenstein!

This set is about $500.

Love the bug!!

Views of the store...

Kids staring in awe at the selection.....
