Election Day!

We were warned of long lines in the rain today. My professor arrived at her polling place at 5:30 a.m. and reported that there were hundreds of people in front of her, waiting for the polls to open at 6:00 a.m. We waited until 2:45 p.m., drove over to Parker's school and got in and out in 30 seconds. Now we will anxiously await the results....
We didn't take advantage of the election day freebies....Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Starbucks coffee, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, or Chik-Fil-A. We were lucky to avoid a long line at the polls...we knew we wouldn't be so lucky at these places.

Happy Halloweeeeeen!

Parker as Jango Fett from Star Wars

What a haul! It will take us at least a few days to eat all of this :)

Say that again!

Isaac, Katie & Lily came over today, and we got out some of Parker's toys for Lily to play with. Apparently this caused Parker some mild distress, since he would "appreciate it if we asked first."

I gave him a look that I guess made him think he was in trouble.

And then he said..."Mom, were there any functional errors in my behavior?"

I am not making this up.

Peek a Boo!

Lily couldn't get enough of this. Her uncle is so funny!

She'd been playing for awhile by the time we took the video.
She's pretty tired at this point.
No nap all day and almost time for bed!
