We were warned of long lines in the rain today. My professor arrived at her polling place at 5:30 a.m. and reported that there were hundreds of people in front of her, waiting for the polls to open at 6:00 a.m. We waited until 2:45 p.m., drove over to Parker's school and got in and out in 30 seconds. Now we will anxiously await the results....We didn't take advantage of the election day freebies....Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Starbucks coffee, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, or Chik-Fil-A. We were lucky to avoid a long line at the polls...we knew we wouldn't be so lucky at these places.

Yeah, we only had to wait 30 mins... But we had to drag Lily out of bed at 6:00 so Isaac could get to work in time. No rain though, it was actually pretty pleasant. I finally got a camera (my sis gave me her old one), so I can post more pics and what not. Yay!!!!
