Well, he did take a couple breaks to enjoy his birthday dinner(homemade chili) and his birthday dessert
(homemade lemon pound cake).
And we took a trip to Ironbridge Sports Park to race go-karts
and hit some balls on the driving range.
What's that, you ask? A sunburn?Oh no. That's just the RASH Parker gets when he gets so excited
about something that he can't stand it.
What, YOUR kid doesn't break out in a rash?!?!
It must be all the adrenaline or something. This was the worst we've ever seen it!
Guess that means he was having a REALLY good time!
Happy Birthday, Parker!(FYI, the rash disappeared about 2 minutes after the go-kart races were over.)

Holy LEGOS!! He's going to have a collection like your Barbie one and it'll need it's own room soon too! And at least you can tell he's excited & enjoying himself when he gets a rash, your efforts weren't wasted. Happy Birthday Parker!
Yes, Parker has a million and one legos and he always wants more! It was fun to see and talk to him yesterday on his birthday (thanks to our new web cam!). Sounds like he had lots of fun on the go-karts and golfing and all the yummy food. Parker, we love you!!
haha a rash from excitement?? i didnt know he did that. how funny. what a crazy fun birthday!
I really enjoyed talking to Parker on his birthday. I have mentioned to a few close friends what an awesome boy he is and not just because he is my grandson. He is kind, thoughtful, and polite. As well as energetic, enthusiastic and just overall a great kid with wonderful parents. I'm glad you had a great birthday Parker. Your golf swing needs a little practice. It looked like from where your club ended up at the end of your swing that the balls may have been coming pretty close to hitting your Dad. Have a great year. I hope school is going well and you are adjusting to all the changes; finding your locker and rooms, remembering your combination and making new great friends. With love, Grandma H.
