Petapalooza

Introducing Max & Sam, Parker's new pets.
They are Sandfish; a species of Skink.
They are pretty darn cute, too!
We brought them home on Saturday,
but today they finally sprang to life!
Due to the graphic cricket-eating
nature of these videos,
viewer discretion is advised.

Janell's 30th (gulp) birthday

Yeah, so I'm finally 30!
There are too many witnesses
to deny it any longer.

All the gifts helped to ease the pain!

Jeremy will use any excuse to spoil me-
this time he did it with sapphires and diamonds.
"He went to Jared!!" is now the
running joke about my birthday.

Sweet/Awesome

Parker celebrated 10 years yesterday!
We had a birthday dinner with
Aaron, Teresa, Katie & Lily.
Back at home, he was ready to
rip into some birthday gifts!

Jeremy's Birthday

I was a little surprised that for his
birthday dinner, Jeremy just wanted pizza.
A thin-crust veggie-lover's with beef.

Nothing says "happy birthday" like banana cream pie!

Birthday Celebray-shuns!!

Last weekend we had a joint birthday
party to celebrate our mutual aging.
Our friends were there to mourn with us.
They didn't seem all that mournful, however.

It's funny how hearing the "Happy Birthday"
song never gets old, even after
it's been sung to you 30 times!

Pizza Party

Hello! I'm afraid my pizza is a secret and is therefore kept behind this lunchbox.

Adam has no pride in his pizza making "skills" and flaunts them openly for all to see.

Well, what do we have here?

Chicken, bacon, artichoke, and green onions. Magnifique!

Satisfied? Why, yes we are.
The Virginian Hancock bunch got together and had a pizza making party. Each subgroup made a pizza and we all got to eat way to much pizza, hang out, play some video games and exclaim over how I made the best pizza. All in all, a great day.

Hanging it up after 11 years.

Holy crap these pans are old! Some things you just don't replace until you realize you've probably ingested several ounces of frying pan over the last few years and maybe, just maybe, that is not a dietary need.
